Chemnitz is preparing: Over 10,000 runners during the company run!

The countdown is running! The Schnellestelle.de company run in Chemnitz is just around the corner and already ensures anticipation among runners: Inside and spectators: Inside. On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, the city center turns into a pulsating running arena. The starting shot is given at 5:45 p.m. by the mayor of Chemnitz, Sven Schulze.

Over 10,000 participants: Inside from more than 550 companies have registered and will do their best on the 4.8 kilometer route. The paths lead from the market via Webergasse and Theaterstraße to Hartmannstraße and Schloßteichpark before going back to the market. At this event, not only the sporting performance counts, but also the team spirit. The participants: start in six waves of 15 minutes.

So that the company run can run smoothly, the running routes are closed from 5:00 p.m. to around 8:30 p.m. Sportmacher GmbH, organizer of the event, asks all road users: to pay attention to the designated stopping bans inside and recommend a bypass via Leipziger Strasse, Reichsstraße and other main streets. In order to make it easier to travel, visitors are stopped: to use the inner city parking spaces and public transport. Changes in public transport will be announced in good time via CVAG.

The physical well-being is also taken care of: various catering offers are ready, from grill and fish specialties to pasta dishes to sweets and drinks. Consumers: Inside can book tokens by August 27th to avoid cash traffic on site.

This year's event promises to become an exciting event, especially since the record participation of 10,944 runners: inside from 557 companies is on the table. This impressive number impressively shows how high the enthusiasm for company runs in Germany is, as in other cities, for example at B2RUN or the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, who are the largest of their kind with over 50,000 participants.

The combination of sport, teamwork and a sense of community makes such events on very special days. Company runs not only offer an opportunity to do sports, but also strengthen the cohesion within the teams.
