Concert highlight: Mulhouse and Chemnitz combine musical forces!

On Tuesday, July 8th, a very special musical event will take place in Chemnitz, which makes the hearts of all classic lovers beat faster. Mayor Ralph Burghart welcomes around 30 musicians in the green salon of the town hall: inside the Collegium Musicum de Mulhouse. This group from the French twin town of Mulhouse will be a guest from July 6th to 9th in Chemnitz to consolidate the existing cooperation with the Saxon Symphony Orchestra. An inspiring exchange between the two ensembles, which has already been able to fruits in recent years, was expected: a year ago, five members of the Collegium Musicum were in Chemnitz and actively participated there.

The highlight This visit is a joint concert on July 9, which will take place at 6 p.m. in the auditorium of the industrial school. EventFrog reports on a program that recognizes the European composer and works by Beethoven, Bizet, Haydn, Grieg and Dvořák.
