Chemnitz hydrogen alliance: Future networks for the region!
Around 50 heads from companies, research institutions and institutions recently gathered in Chemnitz's power traffic to discuss the future of the hydrogen economy at the annual network meeting of the Chemnitz hydrogen alliance. This meeting, which took place for the third time, focused on one of the most crucial topics: the network infrastructure for hydrogen. A topic that is very popular in the current discussion about sustainable energies.
The focus of the conversations was both technical aspects and regulatory framework. Those present agreed that powerful networks are a basic requirement for building up a functioning hydrogen economy. "Hydrogen not only has an important role as an energy source, but also offers enormous value creation potential for our regional economy," said Silvana Bergk, the head of the business area of the city of Chemnitz, and thus gave the tone for a constructive exchange.hydrogen and its chances
The interest in the hydrogen alliance - a network that invites the company to actively participate in the regional hydrogen strategy - is enjoying growing popularity. "This shows that we are on the right track. Hydrogen could really boost the economy on site," emphasized Bergk. An additional highlight of the event was the parallel hydrogen World Grand Prix, in which young talents were able to compete with self -made, remote -controlled hydrogen vehicles. In this way, interest in innovative technologies is awakened early on.
Another important step in the hydrogen strategy is the construction of the hydrogen innovation center (HIC) in the immediate vicinity of the Reichenhainer Straße campus. This innovation and technology center, which is supported by the Federal Ministry of Transport, is intended to serve as a national location and thus also strengthen the Chemnitz region. It is a great profit for research and development in the field of hydrogen technologies.
At the end of the day it was clear: the conversations and ideas that were created here are more than just sound and smoke. They marked an important milestone in the further development of one of the most promising energies. The Chemnitz hydrogen alliance not only opened perspectives, but also proven a good hand to bring the actors of the hydrogen economy to a table - and this exchange could ultimately make the difference on the way to a more sustainable future.
