On August 22, 2025, the marketplace "Enchanting Castle" in Annaberg-Buchholz turned into a magical backdrop when the 4. International fairy tale film festival Fabulix® opened its gates with the gala concert "Magic of one night". Under the musical direction of 21-year-old conductor Maximilian Haberstock, the Talented Erzgebirge Philharmonie Aue and numerous soloists spoiled the over 800 guests with a varied program. It was an evening that brought music and emotions to the stage in a pure form.

The gala concert offered a colorful mix of romantic duets and unforgettable melodies from popular Disney films. The highlights were impressive: "Ode on the riser light" and the rousing performances by Ricardo Marinello and Jessica Schaffler, who performed "e più ti penso". Also the well -known songs "I'm ready!" From Vaiana and "I see the light" from Rapunzel provided goose bumps. A very special moment was the premiere of the Fabulix® title "Come back" from Schneewittchen, which captivated the audience.

The gala was also connected to the awarding of the Fabulix® fairy tale film award for the life's work to Uschi Reich, a personality whose films combine generations and cultures. The laudator Meira Durand recognized Reich's contribution to the film culture and emphasized her creative vision. When the evening ended with the common singing of the "rising song", it was clear that the emotional moments of the concert and the honor of Uschi Reich will be remembered for a long time.
