There is a breath of fresh air in the tourist information office in Annaberg-Buchholz! On August 7, 2025, new, original advertising materials were presented there that appeal to both local and immigrant guests. Not only representatives of the local gastronomy industry were present at the handover, but also Mayor Rolf Schmidt, the head of the marketing, culture and tourism department, Nicole Otto, and Judy Seidel, the head of the tourist information center. Together they presented “goodie bags” that caused great enthusiasm.
What particularly caught the eye were the charming beer mats in the Erzgebirge dialect with humorous sayings. Not only do these provide a smile, but they also come with translations so everyone can understand the jokes and puns. In addition to the beer mats, the “goodie bags” are packed with creative puzzle templates for children and a variety of Fabulix® flyers, napkins and menu templates. The campaign received a consistently positive response, which increases anticipation for further creative ideas in the city.
Creative children's offerings and local events
The new materials are intended to appeal primarily to families. The child-friendly puzzle sheets and coloring pages make your stay in Annaberg-Buchholz both entertaining and educational. The goodie bags are available free of charge at the tourist information center and are also distributed in the city center - a great opportunity for anyone who wants to explore the city.

The initiative aims to support the region's catering businesses and increase the visibility of their offerings.
