Seeligstadt fire department receives new emergency vehicle: security for the region!
On June 29, 2025, everything was on its feet in Seeligstadt because the volunteer fire department had invited people to the open day. On this celebratory occasion, Mayor Jens Krauße presented a very special gift: a new personnel carrier (MTW), which will now support the emergency services. This handover was very well received and was a highlight of the day, as [grossharthau.de](https://grossharthau.de/ Feierliche-fahrzeuguebergabe-bei-der-freiwilligen-feuerwehr-seeligstadt-am-29-06-2025/) reported.
A new vehicle brings a breath of fresh air to the fire department's service reports. The old car was officially taken out of service and now had to make way for its successor. Mayor Jens Krauße not only paid respect to the new equipment, but also emphasized the pride that the community has in its fire department. “We know that safety in our region depends on the readiness of the fire department,” said Krauße.
Joint efforts
A celebratory event like this would not have been possible without the collaboration of many committed people. Mayor Krauße expressed his thanks to everyone involved, especially to the comrades of the Seeligstadt volunteer fire department as well as to treasurer Ms. Fischer and the Angermann car dealership from Neustadt Sachsen, which provided the vehicle. It is always impressive to see how much work and commitment goes into such projects.
The new vehicle was also supported by funding from the Free State of Saxony, which represents a significant relief for the community of Großharthau. The financial resources were provided by the local council, which shows how important the support of local politics is for the emergency services.
A look into the future
With the commissioning of the new personnel transport vehicle, a further step was taken for the Seeligstadt fire department. “We wish our comrades safe missions and that they always return from their missions healthy,” added the mayor, underlining the importance of the safety standards that go hand in hand with a modern fleet. The celebrations at the open day were not only an opportunity to present the new achievement, but also a moment of cohesion and respect within the community.
The future looks bright and the community can rely on the dedicated work of its fire department. Because one thing is certain: the safety of citizens has top priority!
