Radibor is planning a new residential area: municipal council meeting on August 13th!
A lot is happening in Radibor! The municipality has developed an ambitious plan to cover the living space requirement. A new residential area is to be built on Alten Bautzener Straße, where up to 22 building plots are planned. According to Mayor Madeleine Rentsch (independent), this step was decided after a detailed discussion with Radiborer Agrar GmbH. The municipality is using previous, failed attempts to develop a new residential area and shows that a good hand is now being proven. The development plan has already been created by the Bautzen architecture firm Panse and submitted to the district office for approval. So that all of these projects can develop optimally, clean land use planning is essential.
As is well known,land use planning is very important in Germany. Over 70% of municipal plans are subject to legal provisions that ensure that the development is in accordance with ecological, economic and social objectives. The municipal plans are directed by the Building Code (BauGB) and the Baun Use Ordinance (Baunvo), which offers a clear structure for urban development. This legal basis not only helps to avoid conflicts, but also promotes sustainable urban development, which Radibor noticeably continues. Here the creation of living space, especially in the social area, plays a central role.
public council meeting
In order to advance the progress in land use planning and other topics, the municipality of Radibor invites you to a public council meeting on August 13, 2025. From 6.30 p.m. this will take place in the meeting room of the municipal office in Alois-Andritzki-Str. 2 instead. A particularly important topic will be the gradual renovation of the apartment building in Milkel, which is to be used to coordinate a fundamental decision.
The property exchange from partial areas of the parcels 123/1 and 124 is also on the agenda. So it is a wide range of programs that offer opportunities for all Radibor citizens: inside, to bring in their concerns. The mayor, M. Rentsch, cordially invites everyone interested to participate in the discussions and bring their questions.
shape the future together
Overall, it can be seen that Radibor is on a promising path to breastfeed the existing need for living space and thus also increase the quality of life of the citizens: inside. The new parliamentary initiative not only relies on the creation of living space, but also on a need -based infrastructure development. It remains exciting to see how the plans of the community will take shape for the coming years.
