A very special event is coming up: The summer festival at the daycare center at Geisingstrasse 25 will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Under the motto “Lìæo wotchadow – A summer of farewell”, residents can look forward to a varied program that will not only make children’s hearts beat faster.
On the daycare grounds, the garden is transformed into a true photo world. Here the little ones can look forward to activities such as can throwing, face painting and an exciting children's disco. But the adults don't miss out either: their physical well-being is taken care of with coffee, cake and hearty delicacies from the grill. A real celebration for the whole family!
A farewell in solidarity
The occasion of the celebration is bittersweet because the daycare center will close on August 31, 2026. But the summer festival should not only be a farewell, but also a look back at the past years. Visitors, children, families, former children and parents as well as colleagues can come together here to refresh memories and honor the institution's living tradition.
