Ferris wheel and fireworks: fun on Anton-Günter-Platz!
The anticipation of the hustle and bustle on Anton-Günter-Platz in Aue-Bad Schlema is great! In just over a month, from July 18th to 20th, 2025, this popular square will once again be transformed into a colorful whirlwind festival for the whole family. It is an event that is a must-see not only for the locals but also for visitors from outside. The program promises a colorful hustle and bustle with a variety of attractions and delicious food that will make the hearts of all visitors beat faster.
What awaits us? A 33-meter-tall Ferris wheel offers breathtaking views over the festival grounds, while the 35-meter-high chain carousel is a thrill for all adrenaline junkies. The square also features bumper cars, the popular break dance and a music express to entertain both young and old guests. Children can also look forward to various carousels that have been specially designed for them.
A feast for the senses
The fair is particularly culinary. The selection ranges from delicious langos and crispy garlic bread to hearty baguettes and crispy potato spirals. There is something for every taste. On the opening day, the festival starts at 2:00 p.m. with a special children's and family day, on which all carousels are 30% cheaper from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for families to spend an unforgettable day together.
In the evening, DJ Litti will provide the atmosphere on stage and at 11 p.m. the spectacle will be rounded off with an impressive fireworks display. On Saturday the festival starts at 11:00 a.m. and the party band Mr. Feelgood and DJ Boonie are ready to put you in a good mood. There will also be a highlight on Sunday: at 3:00 p.m. a Roland Kaiser double will perform to create a great atmosphere.
Important information for visitors
An important note for all drivers: Anton-Günther-Platz and the adjacent parking niches on Thomas-Mann-Straße will probably not be available as parking spaces until July 23, 2025. It is therefore advisable to use public transport or allow some time to look for a parking space.
The fair is not only a place of fun, but also part of a long tradition of fairs in Germany, which were originally designed for trade and have developed over the years into lively folk festivals. These festivities offer an exciting mix of rides, entertainment and culinary delights from different regions. Anyone who takes part in such festivals can look forward to a variety of attractions and a social atmosphere that will increase their anticipation for the next year, like us paradisi.de reported.
Especially in cities like Berlin it is evident that fairgrounds are becoming ever larger and more spectacular, with over 80 attractions and free entry, we inform you dasisstberlin.de. However, the Aue-Bad Schlema Rummel remains a distinctive highlight of the region that combines tradition and fun.
It remains to be said: mark the days in your calendar and look forward to a weekend full of fun, music and fireworks at the fair in Aue-Bad Schlema!
