Summer lounge and First Saturday”: the city celebrates enjoyment and leisure!
On August 22, 2025, Frankenthal will be transformed into an urban chill oasis. From 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., deck chairs, relaxing lounge beats, refreshing drinks and a summery atmosphere invite you to unwind. The event is organized by the operators of the popular beach bar in the Frankenthal lido and is aimed at both locals and visitors to the city. The motto here is: switch off, enjoy and experience the summer flair.
But that's not all! As part of the “First Saturday” pilot project, AUTUMN MAGIC will be celebrated in the city center on the first Saturdays of the month. The organizers want to bring a breath of fresh air and new impulses to the city. Exciting activities and specials are planned until the end of the year to enliven the pedestrian zone. At the heart of this initiative is the collaboration with retailers and restaurants in Frankenthal's city center. Particularly practical: Visitors can park for up to two hours free of charge at participating parking facilities. This includes:
