Kater Findus misses: who saw him? Notes urgently wanted!

There is currently a major concern in the small town of Kamenz: hangover Findus, a trusting freelancer, has been missing since June 14, 2025. The young hangover is only 10 months old and has left his last trace in the vicinity of Neschwitzer Straße. He has been seen several times since then, but unfortunately it could not be captured. Reliable information comes mainly from residents who have sighted him in the immediate vicinity of his home, especially in Neschwitzer Strasse and the Street of Unity. Despite these sightings, Findus's whereabouts remains uncertain, which makes the concern of his family all the greater for him. As the city Kamenz, he could wear a collar with a safety closure, which could also have been left.

Findus is a very slim hangover that had a strong growth boost just before. His striking, short fur has a light fuselage. Since he is not neutered, it could be that he is now looking for adventures. The city's team appeals to the citizens of trying to capture Findus, being careful and not in danger. If you have any information about the missing hangover, you can inform the city's "Service, Order and Security" subject area on 03578 379 242/247 or by email to fundbuero@stadt.kamenz.de. The owner is also available under 0170 8606210.

other missing cats in the region

Findus is not the only hangover that has been missing recently. According to the Tier registration center, several cats have run out of the area in the past few weeks. Among these are:

  • ellie : Missing since June 15th, 2025, 7 years old, gray-brown stuck with a white spot on the back.
  • tiger : Missing since June 19, 2025, 1 year old, brown and shy over strangers.
  • aslan : missing since June 22nd, 2025, gray-brown.
  • pasha : Missing since June 21, 2025, black and gray-white.

The search for the missing cats shows the increasing problem that affects animal owners and animal welfare associations. A newer report of the German Animal Welfare Association illuminates the situation of street cats and the challenges that many animal welfare associations look for. Data from 566 animal welfare associations illustrate how important the concern and protection of shy and run -down cats are.

In view of the numerous reports and the emotional burden that can bring the search and finding missing pets, it is urgently called to be vigilant and to provide any help, be it through sightings or the careful observation of food places. Only together can we make sure that Findus and other cats will come back home as soon as possible.
