Conversion of Kipsdorfer Straße: cyclists and pedestrians benefit!

From September 1, 2025, a lot will happen at the intersection of Kipsdorfer Straße/Bärensteiner Straße in Dresden. Cyclists should not come to a standstill in the critical positions, but as with the motto "Non-Stop instead of stop-and-go", can pass quickly and safely [AGFS NRW informs that ...] (https://www.agfs-nrw.de/fachthemen/ nearmobilitaet/querungenstellen/).

As part of the national cycling plan (North Rhine -Westphalia), a research concentration area was launched, which contributes to improving the transport infrastructure and developing innovative solutions. These include recommendations for the design of bicycle roads and on cargo bike depots in inner cities Mobility forum emphasizes that ....

The conversion at the intersection of Kipsdorfer Straße/Bärensteiner Straße is only the icing on the cake in a number of measures that aim to make cycling in Dresden even more attractive. Ultimately, not only cyclists benefit, but also pedestrians from an improved infrastructure that is intended to increase security and user -friendliness.
