What does the late summer look like in Chemnitz? A colorful program of sporting activities and traditional events attracts citizens to the local sports facilities and outdoor pools. On Sunday, September 7th, the exciting paw swimming will take place in the Wittgensdorf outdoor pool from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Here four -legged friends can prove their skills: In addition to an agility course, organized by the dog sports club Wittgensdorf, the dogs have the opportunity to show their talents. Admission for the four -legged participants is 4 euros, while the accompanying persons are allowed to come free of charge.

A week later, on Sunday, September 14th, the Gablenz outdoor pool is transformed into a paradise for model building enthusiasts. The model sports day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. invites all visitors to enjoy traveling models. Whether boats, sailing ships or RC cars-there is something for everyone here. Entry costs only 1 euro, while models and their accompanying persons enjoy free access.

The sporty highlight in the first days of September is the three-nations archery cup , which takes place all day in the Sportforum Turmplatz on Saturday, September 6th.
